International’s April financials appear above. As was stated at the board meeting in Hong Kong we are cautiously optimistic that we will end FY2018 with a surplus of around $100,000. Our Fidelity Investment Account sits at approximately $545,000.

We currently sit at 5 months of liquidity. The entire International team continues to remain aggressively focused on revenue generation and managing expenses for FY2018.

Technology

The goal of the Make-A-Wish Cloud is simple: Improve business intelligence to maximize the benefits for all. Our global CRM system Salesforce will keep all of us connected by sharing data in real-time, streamlining processes to simplify our work, and improve profitability (yes, optimize fundraising opportunities). The more aligned and focused we are as an organization, the better leverage we have in a very competitive global business environment. One CRM system worldwide will give us a competitive advantage against other global non-profits.

Currently, we have on-boarded 18 affiliates on the Make-A-Wish Cloud. Our intent is that by 2022 all affiliates are up and running on the platform. Moving forward, the Make-A-Wish Cloud initiative will include the Wish Cloud, Fundraising Cloud, the design, development and roll out of the Volunteer Cloud, Make-A-Wish Community, and Finance Cloud as well as the infrastructure to continuously support the global community.

This strategy for our Make-A-Wish Cloud (Salesforce) will help us to professionalize, become more sustainable financially and help the organization to become more business oriented. Your help in championing this with the affiliates is greatly appreciated.
